Founded The Beacon Kolkata as a college project back in 2014.
Back then it was a black & white fortnightly. It moved on to full colour and then onto Kolkata's very first completely online magazine in the year 2015.It has been many years since it's inception but the objective however, remains the same – Showcasing Kolkata & the people representing the city in a fresh light, justifying the aura that Kolkata stands for.
